A Boston based traditional loyalty programs company had developed a new technology platform to transition the business from a services business to a software business. It has been a solid mid-sized company with a relatively small loyal customer base. The time had come with the technology investments to also invest in business development and a new ‘go-2-market’ strategy.
In addition to the standard requirements for a very senior BD executive it was imperative that the new EVP BD have experience in both service and software businesses.
